Service Description
The POWER Programme is a physiotherapist-guided strength training to help you preserve muscle mass, build stronger bones, and maintain independence at every stage of life. What you'll gain: - Increased bone density and reduced osteoporosis risk - Healthy weight management and boosted metabolism - Stronger joints and reduced joint pain - Better balance and reduced risk of falls How it works: - Resistance training with strength machines, free weights, and bodyweight exercises - Recommended: 2–3 sessions/week - Improvements in: 8–12 weeks Suitable for individuals with: - Desire to build or maintain muscle mass - Recovery from surgery or long-term medical treatment - Chronic conditions such as diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, or cardiovascular/respiratory conditions
